Where do they get tens of thousands of people to pay thousands for seats and blinding hotel costs?

I don’t follow any particular team but cheer against the unethical ones. Or at least the ones getting caught being unethical.

Chiefs and Eagles. Which one has nicer uniforms?

I'll probably pass on watching the game this year because I'm not a fan of either team and really don't care who wins. I really hate Mahomes and the preferential treatment KC seems to get from the officials. I also can't listen to rap or hip-hop, so the half-time show is no draw for me.

I’ll watch it , it’s the superbowl ! And we get together with friends , eat chili and drink beer . It’s just fun , nobody in our group gets “homer stupid”

Same here. My wife and I are big fans of the NFL. This year I despise the Eagles because they beat the Rams. On the other side, I think that Mahomes is the best quarterback today, but I hate how KC have been benefited by several referee decisions.

Not sure I've ever watched a Superbowl game.
One thing I miss about living in the land of the free is Sunday football. It's hard to explain, we don't have anything like it in Canada.

Bar north of Scottsdale ( cave creek actually) , patron buy thier own barstools and have thier favorite teams logos on tbe seat and back , it’s cult like , massive screens , pitchers flowing , it’s an event.

Then we get the ugly end of Super Bowl with stats on spousal abuse going through the roof . That’s sad .

Domestic violence, physical or emotional is not a good thing. It is made worse by lobbyists bending the truth to get attention.

Superbowl isn't the huge monster the attention whores in media claim.

Psychological damage is harder to spot. The bruising is internal.

On the good news side, I know two fathers that have reunited with their children after being separated for, in one case seven years and the other over twenty. Nasty ex-wives and psycho in-laws use kids as pawns. I can speak from experience about the negativity.

Asians don't watch the Superbowl.

As my mom kept telling me, "We have Super Bowl at home!"

Hockey Night in Canada?
Not the same.

Every Sunday from coast to coast a large portion of the USA is dressed in their team colors and ready to cheer. Grocery stores are stocked with game day deals on party snacks, beer, and stuff for the grille. People get together for a few hours to watch games, sports bars get packed -- a comparison is hard to explain -- you have to experience it.

And at 7am you'll see chartered busses at the Duty Free border crossing taking on skids of beer just for the pre/post stadium tailgate party's.

Here's someone that's never been to a bonspiel
Maybe in Winnipeg or Regina! Around here a Bonspiel gets 15 members for a few hours on Thursday afternoon!

The big ones in Curling towns are a little more fun -- lots of drinking, eating, and a chance to connect with old friends. In the US, Football goes for 20 weeks, every Sunday and has an incredibly wide breadth of participation.

I'll bet 9/10 Americans can name a QB and tell you what a line of scrimmage is. What percentage of Canadians could name a Skip or tell you where to find a Hog Line?
