After my issues with Jimmy at velocity and him making me a suit that didn't fit and then not offering to make the situation better I was stuck, I was out almost 600 bucks and I was a couple weeks away from going to deals gap. Then while at a soar event I started talking to fawaz from racer 5 and mentioned my situation to him. Without getting in to too much detail I could see the disgust in his face with how I'd been treated and he told me how he would have handled the Problem if it was him. 100% differently than velocity did. He didn't offer to sell me a suit as would have been expected in that situation but rather I walked around and took note of all the guys who were wearing his suits. I was hesitant to buy another non name brand suit but all the racers I talked to loved their suit and some had even crashed in them multiple times and hadn't torn them. That there was enough for me to try one on. And you know What, it fit me Perfect. As if it was made for me, the way my custom suit was supposed to fit me but didn't. The suit broke in fast and feels like a second skin. I can't say enough good things about the suit and the quality of service I've received. So if anyone is looking for a suit That's cheaper than velocity and That's been crash tested by some top guys check out the racer 5 suits.

Go to his Speedworx shop in Markham and you can try them on.

That's your best bet. I'm odd ball sized, big torso short legs and arms and it fits me Perfect

I took the course this year..I have my own suit but one of the guys that was renting, high sided and went flying...Suit was scuffed, he was totally fine. I think after he crashed he decided to buy the suit cause he wanted the battle scars. Next suit I buy will be from Fawaz.

Yup I bought it and love it. I'll post pics when I get home

PM responded to by Racer 5 looks like they will have more info available online soon as well he mentioned they do have them instore to be tried on and looked at.

sorry it took so long, here are some pics of the suit and me in it, again it fits like a glove and i cant say enough good things about it, no i dont work for fawaz and he hasnt asked me to promote this for him, im just a strong supporter of places that offer a product this good and customer service to match it.

Here' my short and sweet review of my Racer5 suit.
Cayuga, Turn 1, Highside, 100ft + slide on the track according to the Marshall. Suit held up perfectly, Just scuffing on the butt, shoulders and arm. No seams opened and no leather came close to wearing through. Wish my ribs faired as well :( .
Cayuga, Turn 5, Lowside, Much shorter slide and no damage to either me or the suit.

Did exactly what a suit should do, Protected me and still remained usable.

There's a testimony to it's quality right there. When I was at soar before buying it I found a few guys with these that were scuffed all over the place but none had ripped. 2-3 crashes at that level and they managed to stay intact. Can't beat that. Not for the price That's for sure.

Are these the same suits you can rent if you take one of thier programs? Price?

Yeap, it's the exact same suit! I also have the Racer5 suit and can vouch for it. Crashed in it twice at TBG and you can barely see any damage from looking at it.

Good quality, great price and you can pick and choose your own colours!
