Street Parking?

I try to avoid riding into Toronto, but have a few basic questions
that weren't covered in the safety course:

When parking on the street, is a bike expected/required to be parked on an angle?
If so, is there a "correct" angle?

I've heard this will be changing, but is street meter parking,
where there are meters or pay stations, still free for motorcycles?

Technically, you're supposed to park at 45 to 60 degree angle (see page 15). I find that most people park roughly perpendicular to the curb. Lets more bikes be sandwiched between cars.

Metered spots are still free for motorcycles.
