Strapping front end down - Caliper Mounts

Can I not strap my front end down using the triple tree clamp and caliper mounts??

Or would it rip the caliper mount out?

I regularly use the lower triple to strap down the bike. I don't see any problem there.
Do you mean to use the caliper mount on upside-down forks? I can see an advantage in doing it this way in that there would be no pressure on the suspension and you could probably get away with less tension. On the other hand, I would be concerned about bending or twisting forces applied to the lower forks. The caliper mount is probably pretty stout.

For anyone using a decent sport chock (eg: Baxley or one from Princess auto) the recommended way to strap is from mid section on bike angled forwards.

I have been doing this for 4+ years now, and have NEVER had a problem with restraint or suspension... and have went many many KM's. Most bikes have somewhere you can get the correct angle somewhere where the subframe connects to the main frame for sportbikes. This is solid as a ROCK!

Makes for a very easy tie down as well. SAVE your suspension.

I can't source these in time....so I was hoping to use the caliper mounts...

I've seen straps that simply bolt to the upper caliper bolt on either side. This is non-radial, correct?

I have both....the bike I want to run tomorrow has RADIAL calipers

Sure, look how the Brock's kits mount - should be fairly simple to make a bracket and then use some nylon strap to the lower triple. Might not look as elegant as the CNC'ed stuff but so what?
