Strange stuff in coolant reservoir. . .

Hey guys,

I got my 2005 SV650 a few months ago and it has been running great with no problems what so ever. When I was installing my frame sliders the other day I noticed this strange looking stuff in the coolant reservoir. I did a full coolant flush when I got the bike and I don't know if I just didn't notice this or its new. Any idea's on what this is prior to me propping the tank and taking the reservoir out to see what this is . . . Any help is appreciated. Thanks

lol yep that or an STD . . . should have had "the talk" with the bike. Meh Ill remember with the next one ;P

Really didn't want to flush the system out again, but I guess I don't have much of a choice.
 
Don't flush the whole system just take the reservoir off first and find out what it is
 
It looks like non-distilled water was used in the mixture.
Did you mix it yoursel or buy pre-mixed?

Pre-mixed 50/50 was used and I flushed it out with distilled water prior to re-fill.

Nothing "swimming/floating" around. Just build up on the plastic of the reservoir walls.
