Strange Pricing for All Types of Insurance.

Is it normal to have house insurance with one company, auto with another and motorcycle with a third? I have great rates for my auto and house with different companies, and when I asked about moving one or the other to take advantage of (alleged)discounts, it still worked out to be more.

So whats the question? Is it normal to go with the cheapest rates?
If bundling doesn't save you money then there is no point in doing it, unless you want to pay extra to have one bill instead of 2 or 3.

Bundles rarely save you that much money unless you take every kind of insurance they offer. If you dont need all the insurance, then no, you are paying more anyway.

Its like getting a Cable TV & Phone & Internet package. If all you want is internet, sure you are "saving" money, but you're taking a bunch of stuff you dont need.

People usually get the bundles because its more convenient. I would pay 10 more dollars a month if it meant I could just pay one company, but once it starts getting into like 20-100 dollars more, its worth it to just pay multiple bills.

*edit* I have 3 insurance companies since they all specialise in different types of insurance. I get a better price that way.
