Strange Behaviour. Clutch?

My moto has started acting strange today. The bike is simply not responding to the throttle as per usual. It's as though the clutch is somewhat pressed in. So there is power delivery but very neutered. Another symptom is when I'd hammer the throttle. The RPMs would jump up with no corresponding power response.

I've never experienced anything like this at all, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to look at.
 
How many km's? Did you recently change your oil?

Obviously it seems like the clutch is slipping. I have had this happen in the past with certain brands of oil and when the clutch was tired and needed some love.
 
about 43500K on it. ike has maybe 1000K since the oil change.

I suspected it was a slipping clutch as well. That goes beyond my ability, so I'm going to have to take it to the shop.
 
My 2012 has the same problem and im at about 20,000km.
 
clutch is bone simple requiring hand tools and less than an hour to change

Make sure you have the clutch lever adjusted properly. If the clutch is grabbing at the very end (when you release the lever) then this could be the cause of the slipping.
