Just wanted to let everyone know my 1995 cbr600f3 was stolen lastnight from my driveway sometime between 7pm and 6am friday night/saturday morning.

Its a 1995 cbr600f3

it's black with a black/purple and yellow tank.
the front end is an f4i conversion
f4i gauges
tail is 97-98 600f3
integrated taillight

some noticable parts/differences, are it was not painted obviously since the conversion, so the purple black and yellow tank is noticable with the mostly flat black bike

exhaust is a two brothers brownish carbon looking weave

both side fairings have 2 big holes drilled since i have frame sliders and the previous f4i panel owner had f4i sliders

tires are both almost brand new michelin pilot powers 120/70/17 and 170/60/17

chain and sprockets are new so the rear wheel has a brand new supersprox sprocket copper/orange in color.

grips are blackand blue saying cbr. thats all I can really think of for now, it was stolen from my mom's driveway lastnight, the police will notify me IF they find it until then I'll be checking for any unique parts to this bike up for sale. I'd really appreciate if anyone could notify me if they see or hear anything, even if it's a long shot.

these are some of the more recent shots, the tires aren't the new ones in the pics but we can all tell what pilot powers look like and in my sizing they aren't the most common size for a 600 out there

Sorry for your loss bro, I was allways under the impression that newer bikes are targeted for theft a lot more, this worries me a lot. I hope it turns up its a pretty unique bike for someone to steal

What's likley to happen with a bike like this when its stolen?

Stolen in Brampton wow? Getting to close to home. Majority of the thefts occur in Toronto.

I also recongize that area.

I guess, it can get parted out and sold for parts. F4i fairings cost an arm and a leg from the dealer, so the used ones in good condition are going for good $$ on ebay.

Well I figure that might be my only hope at getting it back. I assume it was stolen because most people think it's an f4i, even other f4i guys used to think it was an f4i which is 01- what 07?

I'm kinda hoping they'll realize it's a 95 and say oh **** and just dump it off somewhere. but I'd recognize specific markings on both side fairings, the upper fairing, the headlight and the tailpanels if i saw them. the headlight had a scuff on the front right side and a crack on the back side. I'm checking for sale sites religiously hoping to spot someone stupid enough to post anything.

Yeah buddy of mine had is 750 stolen a long time ago and finally found it two years later converted to a track bike. ( had a frame weld so he knew it was his )

He got a new ride from insurance and eventually got the old bike back.....but he put a lot of effort into finding it and there were way fewer bikes around in that calibre 30 years ago.

Track use sounds right tho it could just have been one of those "opportunity" snatches. :(

Sucks tho....

well I'll be getting nothing from insurance so I'm really hoping to get the bike back, when I was getting insured the price for full coverage I was told by the broker was the same amount as me just buying another f3, so either way I'd have gotten screwed. I was going to get full coverage after turning 25, which is in 1 month and 3 days.

as it stands right now I'm out a bike and the money, and since we're at the end of the "riding months" ill probably get charged a fee to cancel my insurance on the bike i no longer have since the fall and winter months are supposed to be cheaper, but statefarm averages it.

I guess the only small silver lining is the riding season IS almost over and you've got lots of dark winter days and nights to hustle up enough for a new ride ;)
Had it been stolen in June you'd really be cryin' in your beer....:(

Sorry to hear. I'll keep an eye out for parts (if they try and part it out) on kijiji, as I'm always looking for f3 parts. Pretty unique bike so it shouldn't be too hard to pick out.
