Applied back in mid july for a trial. still waiting on a trial date. how long does this usually take?

Many months. Given that your trial won't likely be for more than a year from the date of the infraction notice, it's too early to be worrying quite yet. Use the time to make sure your notes about the event are full and complete.

when can I file for 11b?

Generally speaking the delay should be 13 months or more before trial, if you hope to succeed. You have to be careful to file close enough to the trial date that it won't be moved up, but leaving enough time that it would be considered reasonable. I would say 6-8 weeks before the trial date, but others may say otherwise.

i applied for a date in may and haven't received a date...i hope i dont get a date at all!

Thanks. My street riding next summer depends on this getting thrown out.

Is it because other previously existing tickets?
Or because this is a big ticket?
If it is speeding, as you already noted, you can usually work something out yourself (reduction), as well as any paralegal would do it.

So...was hiring Redline ever an option or are you going to represent her Jamie?

I thought the existing case law said 11 months + for an 11(b)?

She hasn't specifically asked for my help although I'd have no problem offering it if asked.

Even though case law is 11 months, the judge weighs the options to determine how "unreasonable" the delay is, on a case by case basis.
