Stiff clutch? GSXR

Questionz

I just recently bought a 2010 Suzuki GSXR, and noticed the clutch is a little stiff in the sense that after a few gear shifts, you can feel the hand cramp up.

Has anyone else noticed tihs on a 2010 gsxr? What could be the cause of this, or how do I make it less stiff?

There is a dial on the clutch, I believe this is in case the clutch cable gets loose, you can re-adjust it, but I'm not sure if this will help in making the clutch less stiff.

The dial will allow you to adjust the distance from the lever to the bar, this may ease your pain.

Otherwise hit the gym.

I haven't noticed a problem with mine. I would go with Gixxer6 advice

Is it more stiff now than when you first got the bike? if yes, lube the cable.
Do you know anyone with the same bike? can you compare yours to theirs?

Unfortunately I haven't compared it with other '10 gsxrs, but I will when I see one. I did get it recently, so I can't comment on whether there was any stiffness change, so let's say it's the same.

Lubing the cable, does that mean I have to take out the entire cable to lube it? This is my first rodeo...

It's a 5 minute ordeal.
There are many video's, this is just the first one I found.

Oh wow that's great! Thanks! I guess I need to get the clutch lubrication tool from suzuki or something. Actually I don't really need that it seems - if I can aim correctly.

99. Change hands......................

Clutches are overrated anyway.

I have a 2010 gsxr 750, the clutch is a bit stiffer than my zx6r but nothing to cause Ur hands to stiff. Lube and adjust the cable

Check the master and slave cylinder, the fluid is probably 2 years old. You can upgrade the slave cylinder, that seems to help the duc's.

These bikes don't have a hydraulic clutch. Also that little wheel to adjust your cable, there's a certain amount of free play to have so if you want the lever to be adjustable an aftermarket setup is the only correct way to do this.
