Did a 350km loop today with the Hyper.Stopped in Thornbury to watch the steelhead run up the fish ladder. The ministry was doing fish counts while i was there. They lift the cage every 4hr and unload 120 fish of all sizes, some up to about 15lb!Awesome to see the fish in good health and all sizes.

Cool video!! Would love to throw a line in that river...catch & release for sure. My Hyper is going out this coming weekend. Going to go up the 507 and maybe beyond. Hope to see some icefalls.

Hey, my town! That fish ladder is a big draw, usually a ton of people hanging out on the bridge watching the fish. And yes, Mylar and Loretta's is a nice little stop, great for breakfast on the weekends.

The roads have really improved in a week. On March 9th I was coming back from Collingwood and had to turn around at Highway 4 because the road was closed due to blowing snow. A friend of mine is heading to Devil's Glen to ski today.

How much longer do the steelhead run up the fish ladder?
