Statefarm Insurance Question.

Hey all, Quick Question.

I know that statefarm has a requirement for the Rider to have a G (or possibly g2) license for X amount of years in order to have their motorcycle insured with them.

My situation is i want to purchase and insure a SS bike. I currently have my M2 and I had a G2 license that had expired in 2008. If i was take my G2 test would statefarm take in to consideration that i have had a license for more than 5 years...or just ignore that fact and start the timer from when i get my G2M2.

Doubt it, if memory serves me correct there are questions in regards to license cancellation or suspension.

They give their Big discount to drivers with their "G" for 5 years.

You are probably best off contacting an agent directly for an answer to your question.

It's continuous... That's like saying you had a license 25 years ago, then got it again last week. You haven't been driving for 25 years! LOL
But I agree, you should call an agent and at least get a quote. Tell them your situation, see what they say.
