Starting to look for new to me gear.

Bike is Honda CBR600RR so I'm looking for full gear in SS bike style.

Looking for a new helmet, gloves, jacket, pants and possibly boots. I know that they sell 1 piece suits that dived jacket and pants with the zipper. Would love that.
Checked out kijiji but nothing really that caught my eye.

How about place like Crazy Al's in London and Royal Distributing in Guelph? How are their sales right now? I'm in Kitchener so it's not that far of a drive for me. But I wanna get good deals since the end of the season. I don't cheap out on protection though.

Also, maybe I should wait for that Motorcycle show that's gonna be happening in Toronto on December 7-9th.

Thanks guy.

if your not going to ride it this year just wait untill bike show and go sunday mid afternoon.......always great deals then

Wait until January bike show in Mississauga if you want to buy locally.

Is that even a better show than in December?

its in Michigan, 3.5 hour drive, but has some DAMN good deals. I have the zip together Teknic suit and love it.

I buy locally when I can, but saving $$ is more important...

Yeah, that place is a bit of a drive but doable. I see they have sales.

OP are you looking to be able to do track days? race? pose as a power ranger? commute?

Shows are good places to find deals. Royal Distributing is also a decent place to get gear. I loved some of Jimmy's (Velocity Sports Gear) kanagroo gear yesterday when I picked up my kevlar cargo's but it may be out of your price range. Still might want to check out his gloves and cow hide stuff.

I would suggest that unless you are track only do not get a 1 piece suit go with a 2 piece that zips together. if you do want to go to the track add a back protector to your shopping list. When I had my SS I normally wore a leather jacket with kevlar jeans. I did use my track boots and gloves. Had a 1 piece for playing on the track. If you just started looking at trackable gear you may be in for some sticker shock lol.

I only wanna do some track. So 2 piece zipper suit would just do for me. I already track my car so that's another money pit that I have.
Might just drive down to Royal and see what they have, try some on....Just to get an idea of what I want.

Who wants to do a road trip??? They have so many suits to try on:)

Lol, I went Monday... Got a jacket and cortech boots..made it thru customs without being stopped too, even tho I declared the stuff lol...

really easy drive, 401-402-I-94....

Showroom is decent size, prob have 30 different jackets... Call ahead to make sure they have you size ...

they have a ton of stuff in the rear storeroom also...

The web site has a lot of suits in sizes that would fit me. I'm usually stuck with trying one or two suits at other stores.

I have a pair of moto GP pants the I'd sell (just been lazy and hevn't posterd them up. The are a combo leather and fabric, the leatyher is in all the right places ie knees, azz etc., with full 360 zipper options. Size 34ish (I'll need to check) if you are interested.

Post a pic of it if you could please.

I had the same problem! Better to call ahead tho, I was told they don't always have everything at the store...I did see about 10 suits tho, dianese, astar, teknic, etc...

plus, I brought the wife and kid, and 20 min down the road there is a HUGE mall, somerset mall, so I looked like a champ bringing them there lol

lol nice, I don't think I'll have any money left to go non gear shopping after though.

It's a great time to buy. The motorcycle shows tend have the best prices but much less selection than now. And some of the prices are rock bottom right now. Check the vendor forum as there are some great prices. You can also find what gear you like then google search for deals. I've found deals from 40% to 60% off because places are clearing stock for next year's gear.
