Starlane GPS Laptimer users!

Hey guys,

I recently got a Starlane GPS laptimer. The model I have is the Stealth GPS-2.

Does anyone have a ltg file of the race tracks in Canada or even USA that they would share?

Atm I'm having problem with the DigiRace software. I can plot the start/finish line, intermediate 1, 2, and 3 on the integrated map (google earth). But after I save the file, and reopen the file...the coordinates ended up somewhere in the middle east.

Than I realized the coordinates in the software does not recognize negative coordinates. Being in the western Hemisphere, our longitude are all in negative degrees.

I've emailed starlane and yoyodyne, but haven't gotten a answer. So I was wondering if any other fellow starlane users are having the same issue I'm having.

Don't use the integrated map.... take it for a few laps at the track, then plot based on the data acquired. You will not obtain a reasonably accurate start/finish or even track map unless you do so.

I would help but my AIM Solo uses different file types.

Thanks! I was hoping to get it set up before going to the racetrack, but that's cool.

I'll reply to this thread once I get a setting down for other starlane users on GTAM to use later on. Most likely next year

I have a gps-3 and can send you DAT and INF files from the tracks folder on my USB for Calabogie and Mosport if you want. PM you email if you want. Still learning the software, so there are a couple of versions. Easiest way is to use the auto start finish feature, run a session, load into Digi race, set intermediates, load back into the GPS and you should be good to go each time. I messed up a bit when I tried to add the second track, but seems to be ok now.
