CRC products are available through Keystone Automotive which Parts Source and Carquest for sure can order from.

use break in motor oil .... or use Amsoil break in lube, almost any Amsoil dealer should be able to source it (and there are a lot of dealers)

EDIT: " almost any Amsoil dealer should be able to source ASSEMBLY LUBE (and there are a lot of dealers)"

Dude, please stop posting in the technical section unless you are asking a question.
Break in lube and assembly lube are not the same thing.

Time and time again you are giving people false advice as if you know or have extensive experience in the field - please stop, your post count is high enough already.

Anybody know the difference between this and Moly-grease?

Amsoil makes assembly lube....use assembly lube with break in oil.... should've been clear...if you want to go that route.

Why would you even use assembly lube for? How long are you waiting after you rebuilt a motor to turning it over and breaking it in??

It's NOT absolutely necessary to use assembly lube while building a motor, there are tons of motors out there that have been built without assembly lube. None of the stuff I've built/rebuild has failed due to lack of assembly lube.

There are other critical things are should be done when your turning over a fresh rebuild than worring about the use of assembly lube or not...

Assembly lube is suppose to dissolve in oil and cause no harm to bearings, etc. Its suppose to be specially formulated to help with motors that are being assemlbed and stored for a while before they are broken in etc.

Moly grease...i've seen it use in farm - isn't it a form of solid lubricant? I dont think its suppose to be used in high speed bearing applications...not sure if it dissolved in oil either...

take it easy Mike.from.canmore, Frekeyguy has helped many gta members with issues and is quite knowledgeable and most of us appreciate his input

My manual calls for Moly grease. Its a solid lubricant. Don't know why the OP wouldn't use Moly though
