So The other day i was riding down 5 Side Road from Milton on my way to Brampton. I was riding at about 80-100 and no other cars were on the road. After a few more kilometers, a black SUV was coming in the oncoming lane. Just as we were about to pass eachother, a huge grey squirrel decided that was the best time to cross the road for whatever reason. There was plenty of time before or after we had passedbut he chose that time to bolt! So this squirrel made it past the SUV with plenty of room but came so close to my front tire, i checked the tire for fur when i stopped later that morning! I couldn't believe how close it was, both my life and i GARENTEE the squirrel's life flashed before it's eyes! I even laughed really hard after almost hitting the stupid creature because i litterally saw it's tail FOLD OUT OF THE WAY OF MY TIRE!!! He pulled his tail closer to his body so aas not to get hit as he darted across in front of me!
Have you noticed that squirrels are getting more and more condfident in their ability to dodge cars!? I swear, i bet all the little squirrely friends sit on the side of the road and bet on who will make it across with the closest chances....
