"On June 15, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West OPP with assistance of Springwater Fire and Simcoe County EMS responded to a report of a serious collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on George Johnston Road/County Road 28 near Sunnidale Road.
Sadly, as a result of the collision, a 31-year-old passenger of the motorcycle was confirmed deceased on scene by EMS. The 41-year-old driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries, and subsequently transported by ORNGE Air to a trauma centre in Toronto. The 71-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle was treated for minor injuries."
