Spray Cleaner - Spray & Wipe

I used to have a spray cleaner for the bimmer; just spray and wipe with a rag and it literally cleaned and shined as if just came out of premium car wash. Was pretty handy considering I wouldn't take it to carwashes (I babied it and carwashes damage paint) and was too time consuming to hand wash frequently.

Anyone remember the name of it or use it on their bikes?

I'd suggest that you're better off NOT using a product like that to wash your bike or car. You would be scratching the hell outta your paint - assuming the car or bike was dirty. Meguiar's Quick Detailer (or similar products) can be used along with a plush microfibre towel to lift dust off an otherwise clean and sealed/waxed paint surface. If the paint is any dirtier, I'd rinse first (at least) if not give it a quick wash.

I use S1000 foam (I think that is the name) when I'm out on a tour and don't have access to a hose and soap. I've never used it on shiny parts, just paint and non-polished/chrome parts. Just spray on, let it sit for a few seconds and then wipe away. I wouldn't use it every day, but it does the trick between washes.

Lemon Pledge, used to laugh, now I believe.

Silica based cleaners do an awesome job of getting the bike sparkling... however bodyshop guys HATE the stuff, paint wont stick to the stuff

No name stuff works too.

At the recommendation of reliable sources I used Pledge until a member of the great unwashed (yes I see the irony) steered me to the no name stuff. Since then I've made a solemn promise to commit myself to the use of said stuff. A pledge if you will.

So my entire family cannot see why you amuse me so much. Thanks for the morning chuckle. No homo.

I use the motul wash and wax spray, cleans pretty good. Lemon pledge works well too; I use that for my helmet

LOL@lemon pledge.
You're all at least using a microfiber right?

Mobile car detailers use a variety of "No hose" washes, the very same guys that maintain swirl-free finishes on the most difficult (soft) paints.

Take your pick on autogeek.net, but I use Optimum No Rinse Wash with great success. It's actually developed for the application that you're using it for, and it's cheap. You can buy it in gallons, dilute it for the application that you intend it for (quick detail, car wash, clay bar, etc) and it'll last you a long time. I'm sure it's cheaper than pressurized pledge cans in the long run.

Picked some up a while back, was really let down by the results. The videos made it seem like it was actually fairly decent. The only thing that degrimes like a mother****er is kerosene + a good hose. A mild detergent wash and detailing spray later and the bike is at the best it's going to look, in my opinion.
