This has got to be my worst experience EVER, shopping online.

- I called before ordering and the sales rep said that free exchange shipping also applied to shipping in Canada
- The jacket was too small, so I exchanged it for a medium black. I wrote a note in the box for what the exchange was + I emphasized to include forms so that I wouldn't be taxed twice. I also filed the request on the sportsxgear.com website.
- I paid for shipping back, even though it should be free (as the sales rep told me)
- A month later, the package still isn't here, so I call customer service and it turns out that the package hasn't even been shipped yet. I had to remind them to ship my package.
- The package gets here, and I have to pay for tax AGAIN
- On top of all that, when I open this package...it's the wrong jacket. It's silver, instead of black.

This is the worst service I've ever had. I will not recommend sportsxgear.com to anyone, and will never come back here to order.

A call-back would be appreciated to at least resolve this issue. What am I supposed to do with a jacket that I didn't even order? Pay for shipping a third time and get taxed a third time? Very frustrating, as it's a waste of both my time and money. I ended up spending more than I should've. I might as well have bought local, or paid more at another site.

I just found out about this. Still SOL for paying shipping & getting taxed the second time.

Also, how would that work? Technically, they shipped me the right item that my credit card was charged for. The problem was that they sent me the wrong exchanged item. Would that still count? Thanks

That's a nasty experience. I was also concerned about doing business online outside of Canada, but Sportbike Track Gear, out of Michigan, was fantastic. Andrew, the sales guy I bought my stuff through, was very understanding. I will buy from them again with no worries. I hope that your situation resolves itself without further complications.

Had a similar experience with MCSS. Frustrating.

Well that just sucks, but 25 vendors in the GTA are reading this thread and quietly snickering:)

well knowing you, and you being an honest person... i will never order from these guys.

Its a scam how some of these companies go ahead doing this to people cause they figure they will eventually give up on the complaining.

Hopefully they understand how customers make there sites exist. Hopefully they turn around and fix everything up and you can let this thread know.

until then, they are on my blacklist.

I've been on this site for years and I pay very close attention to other peoples experiences from different companies.

I was going to buy a jacket from them later next week but now I'll be going elsewhere. Thanks for bringing this to everyones attention- you should post this on every motorcycle forum you can find.

Thats some customer service. You do all the leg work and they screw up everything.
Maybe you should call them and give them step by step instructions on how to resolve this
I was looking at a jacket on sale but forget it now, deal or no deal if it don't fit not worth it

bro, stick to the known sites. i never stray when buying stuff online. newenough.com - closeouts - bargain basement is my favourite!! where do i go to tell them they are arseholes and wastes of sperm etc lol??

+1

Hands down best customer service, knowledgable, and quick to respond to concerns or questions.

Hmm, I have to disagree in terms of how their website is. I placed an order for gloves, which showed up as in stock, got an email back 2 days later that they were on backorder for an unknown amount of time. So I placed an order for a different pair of gloves, again, showed up as in stockm, and another backorder email.

So I emailed the CSR and gave him 5 gloves I was interested in and asked him which were in stock in my size, since they all showed up as available, got an answer back that none were in stock. I got so frustrated I ordered the pants that I wanted to go with the gloves from another site where they cost $20 more. Told the CSR they should notify their web team.

This Brian Nelisson seems like a pretty legit fellow - he's sold me on this online shop!
