Yet another review (probably) for these guys.

I bought a Shark helmet from them at an amazing price on closeout. It was an older model Hakka Evoline 3. Kirk from STG gets in touch by email to let me know that the model I ordered wasn't available anymore but they will replace it with the new Hakka version for no extra charge. Helmet arrives and there's a small problem with the finish on the helmet so I get in touch again and Kirk replies to say cut the strap off with the ID number and send it to Shark US and I'll get a new helmet. I can keep the old one. I posted the helmet strap off yesterday....new helmet arrived today. All arranged by STG. They also sorted it out so I didn't pay anything for delivery charges or tax etc on the replacement helmet. Amazing service.

This is my second Shark helmet bought from them, won't be the last thing I buy.
 
I think I already know the answer, but did you get charged any duty or taxes when you got the first helmet (not the replacement)? Currently pricing a few things out and STG might be cheaper but probably not.

yup...on a $340 helmet I got charged $40ish at the door. That's off the top of my head I think. It still worked out cheaper than buying it here by far.

This also works and is the only route for Shoei and Arai from STG as they have shipping restrictions for those brands I think.

Purchased Arai Corsair V and Shoei X12 from them before...shipped right to my door :)

OP: glad you are enjoying your SHARK helmet. I like mine over my Arai because the padding is just out of this world!
