Splits on HID's (H11 & H9) for 65 US (Kawi bikes only)?

Hey,

Well I want to get some HID's for my '08 ZX-6R but the kit runs for about 85 US + shipping. What I want to do is buy 1 H11 kit (comes with 2 bulbs + ballasts) and 1 H9 kit (2 x bulbs, 2 x ballast) and then myself and whoever go 50/50 on the cost can then split the kits so we each get 1 H11 bulb + ballast for the low beam and 1 H9 bulb + ballast for the high beam.

The kit I have in mind is either the 35 or 55 Watt DDM kits with 5000K or 6000K bulbs. The 35 Watt kit costs 64.95 US or 79.95 US for the 55 watt kits.

Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out through PM's or in person if needed.

Thanks,
Jan

They just HIDs without the projectors right?

I would be interested but I actually want to do mine right with projectors so I don't blind on coming drivers and get smoked...I have a 97 ZX6R

They would be just the HID's but the '08 uses a projector so I would just need to lower mine a bit. If you do want to do this let me know and we can discus which HID's to get (brand, wattage, bulb temp).

Have fun with the DDM kit, I would suggest shopping around and finding a shop with good quality HID kits and you will also probably find a shop that will give you the bulbs you need so you dont have to split anything.

I actually have DDM in my car that I retro fitted and they work perfectly. Also, DDM has lifetime warranty on their kits, so if anything goes wrong it means a free replacement. Mean while, all other places that I have looked at want around 130 USD for a kit which only include a one year warranty, after that you are going to have to buy a new kit.

I no longer need anyone to buy the kits with as I have received, installed and sold the other set to patronftw.

Thanks patronftw for the smooth transaction.

Mods can you close this so no more PM's will be sent to me. :D

Thanks!

All HID kits use the same ballast, and most shops sell bulbs separate for like $25

I know the guys at Pacific mall sold me a kit for $90 tax in, and also spare ballasts for $30...So why dont you just buy one kit, and a spare bulb in the different kind of bulb? Or ask them to do a split kit

My bike is a 2009 ZX6R so the bulbs are the exact same....
2007 ZX6R part numbers and wattage
92069-0007 BULB,12V 65W,H9
92069-0014 BULB,12V 55W,H11
Awesome. You think 55w HIDs would get too hot in that tiny area? I'm thinking both 55w 10,000k

10-4

35w 6000k color = 55w 8000k colour but of course 54% brighter, so may be i just go with 55w 8000k. Thanks Johnny. know anyone else that does simple 1 colour paint jobs? i know about LES.
