My reviews for products and people are often very long and wordy Speedworx deserves every bit of this attention so please read.

Speedworx is a new shop opened and operated by the Founders of Racer5 Racing school. As I understand it, the large fleet of bikes that Racer5 operates required regular maintenance so it made sense that they would establish their own shop, and decided to take on customers as well.
In preparation for a long road trip this August I decided I would finally deal with my front brakes, I suspected the rotors were warped but was to broke and lazy to deal with it. Once my wife (Azia) started noticing how awkwardly my bike came to a stop she insisted that it was time to deal with the problem. Speedworx had just opened and was the closest shop to our location in Stouffville (as far as I am aware). We took my bike down to see Fawaz at speedworx one evening, his mechanic immediately did a shake down while we were still on site, and identified that Rotors, Pads, and Tires would need replacing (None of this was a surprise, tires were pushing 20k). Fawaz was incredibly professional during our initial visit and really friendly, he commited to giving me a quote for the service on the same night (it was 8pm when we got there). That night around 11pm Fawaz emailed me the quote and timeline for parts ordering. Because my bike is neither popular or new the rotors were going to take some time. The next day we returned to pick up the bike and his team had given it a full wash down, so thorough that it looked better than when I bought it (used) from the dealer. I hadn't even commited to giving him a dime and already Fawaz was treating me with the kind of service you would expect from your best friends shop.
Fawaz and his team met their ordering timeline dead on, and he was still apologetic, I assured him that he met his commitment but he was still sorry that the parts weren't immediately available. I returned by bike to his shop after hours and he arranged to come and open his shop just to accommodate my schedule (amazing). The next day they had already finished most of the work and had identified a missing spacer from the rear wheel. This was either overlooked or caused by prior highly respected shops. Fawaz still committed to an incredibly fast turn around and I was back on the road in no time with a custom machined spacer. Through the whole experience Fawaz and Speedworx were able to hit their quoted time and price dead on. With a great follow up call a week later to check in and get feedback.
So final thoughts and points.
Speedworx is:
Speedworx is now my go to place for work and parts. Fawaz is clearly pouring his heart and soul into this shop with the same enthusiasm he has brought to Racer5 it is clear that he has a commitment to himself to turn his work into an amazing long term product he is laying his labour and himself on the line to build up an incredible company.
THANK YOU FAWAZ and your team, AND YOUR WIFE she is awesome too!!

Speedworx is:
- Friendly up to the point of being instant friends.
- Dead on quoted time, responsive and quick.
- Thorough, full bike inspection and service recommendation on every visit.
- Reasonable on price. This is a professional shop so they don't have cut rate labour, but Fawaz is committed to good prices on parts and his labour is worth it.
- Clean, this shop looks like everyone wants their dream garage to look. Very clean, very organized and very efficient.
