I gave my bike for the fork seals replacement. A few days after receiving the bike , I noticed the speedo was not working.
Tried to reinsert the cable , and made sure the notch at the end of the cable aligns with the gears. Still didn't help.
Took the bike back to the mechanic, he inspected and said the housing for the speedo gears is cracked.
It's made of aluminum, how could it crack? He said it might be due to hitting a pothole, and I don't remember hitting a pot hole so bad that could do such damage. I baby this bike.
Age related? Or installation error after fork seal replacement?
