I've got a Rube Goldberg project coming up and need a source for small bevel gears etc. Does anyone know of a place that has surplus stuff like the electronics guys do? West end best but have gears will travel.

Any transmission shops near you? they should have boxes of them.

Could be either. Low RPM modest torque. I'm still piddling with ratios and speeds and might look at right angle drill adapters etc.
