Sound quality for a concert @ the sound academy?

Seen a few shows there, avoid being right by the front if you can, the crowd drowns out most of the music. Also if it's a big show be prepared for the crush to be almost EVERYWHERE.
 
It was a good show last night, but agreed - lots of smoking & the crush wasn't too bad, but thankfully we weren't right up @ the stage (thanks for the heads-up Macs).
 
Balcony is good... sound is pretty decent there too. Crowd isn't near as dense as it is on the floor.

Yeah - my buddy and I were kicking ourselves for not going for the VIP tickets. Especially since someone was selling a pair in the line for $20/ticket. I'll know better for next time.
 
You lose the experience up on the balcony :p I loved every suffocating second of Rise Against and DKM.
