it's a no brainer not to gulp down whatever amount of alcohol while riding

all of a sudden makes me wonder why i even bother to show up at a club or bar w/ some friends

so what the hell do you order, apple cider with cherry on top?!

water every time.

Trying to watch the figure you know lolol

Also pop and juice just make me more thirsty for some reason, they don't actually "quench" my thirst

A pint is good. A pint of good scotch....mmm.

Be aware of how alcohol affects you and if you are like some people I know that get wasted on a half glass of wine then avoid it. I don't have a problem with a beer then I usually switch to soda with lime and/or alternate depending on how long we're talking.

I used to really like Kool-Aid, but this fat ****er kept crashing through the wall.

Isn't he a little old for you?

I never drink then ride or drive. I do not drink (I'm a dry camel :) )

I will not ride with someone that has more than 1 drink as past observations have shed light on that they will likely 'f' up and they are not taking me down because they are under the influence.. Sorry does not cut it.

If you choose to not participate with others in their drink then ride lifestyle I say good for you for being mature and responsible enough (we will not tell anyone :p ) to follow your values.

i order either cranberry or ginger ale....for all intents and purposes it looks like i'm drinking a vodka/cran or rye/ginger.

I even do this when i dont ride but go out with buddies who are heavy drinkers and are always forcing you to drink more....I would pull the waitress off to the side and tell her when i order rye/ginger to give me gingerale only. They are always really cool about it and i make sure i tip em generously for it.

I used to ride and have one beer at the most. I lived pretty close to where the bar was so I justified it that way. But in hindsight I regret even doing that; you never know what could happen.

Once I got serious about riding (not just cruising around looking pretty in the city) I stopped. Now I'll just have a cranberry juice or a Coke. Though it's a lot less fun because I'm constantly thinking that I'd rather just hop back on the bike and ride around :)
