My sister thinks that they may have canceled it for the poorer areas. I took dad up to Sunnybrook and all the sidestreets in that area has been plowed and scraped clean.

Haven't seen the plow's or snowcleaning crews in the hood. But then again it all kinda melted yesterday from the sun. 🤷‍♂️

Still a solid 8" on the ground here now. I like the fact that if it's not biking season it could likely be sledding season.

Interesting information in the link. I knew you had to clean the sidewalk but you can be fined for not clearing your driveway ($615). Seems overbearing. Hopefully they dont do that often.

Also this "Please be a good neighbour and help clear sidewalks for senior or disabled persons nearby.". I guess they moved seniors support to the cloud?

Edit:
You can apply for city to clear your sidewalk.

A neighbour widow asked about it but she had a son living at home. She also had to divulge her financial status.

IIRC you can't be sued by someone falling on the city sidewalk but you can be fined for not clearing the walk. The Supreme court said the property owner can't assign liability to others.
