Slipper Clutch

I've had this duc 999 for a few months. Only about 500kms experience on her. After about 3 heavy traffic run-ins (about 1.5 hours of stop n go commuting from TO), the heavy stock clutch is getting a bit painful. Is it worth installing an aftermarket "light" slipper clutch? Or is the diff too little to matter?

You want to install a slipper clutch, because of a traffic you are running into??

Lol I'm sure the slipper clutch is just a "might as well" bonus next to the weight factor. Isn't it OP?

To soften the clutch pull, you need a larger diameter slave cylinder. It will make a huge difference!!

Thanks. If its possible to upgrade the current one, that would be ideal.

There doesn't seem to be a listing for "light clutch replacement" that I've found. Which is why I labeled this as a slipper clutch. As stated above, the slipper function would be a desirable bonus, not the root priority.

You don't need a slipper clutch. Lighter springs (if possible/available) will help and if it's hydraulic you could get a brembo clutch master cylinder (not sure what size you'd need). A slipper clutch is not going to help your situation.

Many Ducs have a heavey clutch mine included but the fix isnt a slipper its like posted a better slave setup

I've also found that using four fingers (rather than two which is common amongst sportbike riders) on the clutch lever has made a huge difference in my clutch slipping endurance...
