I had high hopes for the new guys but....
Biden was elected almost a year ago. He's been in power now for about 8 months and all I can see from it is the perceived botched exit from Afganistan and a bunch of infighting. (I say perceived because I'm no expert)
6 months ago he should have had these clowns locked in a hotel room until they worked it out.

One thing I learned from being in business was that it's very hard to make up time late in a project. Better to sort it out early.
 
Wonder what his approval rating is these days?

The lesson here is never guess. Biden has been around politics for longer than most of us have been on the planet. To me there were no surprises, he's been sleepy for 30 years, demonstrated zero fiscal responsibility over his career, and couldn't even get a strong endorsement from the mak who chose him as VP.

Personally, I thought the Dems were cleverly orchestrating a maneuver that would get Harris into the seat of power. I figured the DEMs understood she would have not fared well against Trump, so let Biden win then have him announce some geriatric mental disorder that called for the torch to be passed to Harris. Didn't happen -- still might.

I thought so as well, but then Harris actually got into government and they realized she is totally useless and unwanted by the general public. Putting her in the driver's seat would probably guarantee a Republican victory in 2024. So for now we get sleepy Joe...

Kinda noticed her support group quietly dissappeared since she got into the VP seat, and there isn't much news coverage of her.

I wonder if that is related to her attitude/performance or the old boys club deciding now is not the time. I thought she would be pushed to the top quickly but I agree with you, I haven't heard a damn thing since the election.

True, but I thought she was part of a game. Murica wouldn't elect a woman (or poc), but after sleepy gets elected, let him go have a nap and her rule and some percentage of the population will be shocked to see that women (or poc if you prefer that bias) can get things done. Soften things up a bit for future elections.

She's probably the most unlikable female politician after Hillary Clinton. She fought to uphold wrongful convictions that were won with tampered evidence, and also laughed about it. She likely slept her way into many patronage appointments early in her career thanks to her at the time boyfriend Willie Brown.

Compare that to someone a lot more respectable like Tulsi Gabbard.
