Sidi boot sole repair recommendations?

One of the soles has separated from my Sidi Vortice boots, and the other's not far behind. What's sad is that it isn't the user-replaceable part that's supposed to save me time and money, but the actual sole, which includes the heel. Does this warrant taking them to a cobbler for repair (and who do you recommend), or is something like Shoe Goo good enough to keep these safe for track use? Other than separating from the boot, the soles still look pretty good to me, unless you guys think otherwise? Sidi Does sell full replacements, but the few places I checked in the US and Canada are out of stock.

Yes, these boots are bloody expensive. I use Shoe Goo but for rebuilding the area of the sole worn-away from the footpegs. It tends to break down after a couple months or so of riding but it works. In your case, I've never seen the entire sole separate like that. I would try smearing a thin layer of Shoe Goo to both sides and firmly fix in place, perhaps by wrapping electrical tape around the boot, and let it set over-night. Once it sets, any seepage can be cut-away with an exacto-knife. Good luck!
