Should I cancel?

Long story short, bike went up in flames and wasn't covered (liability only). I've heard mix things about cancelling, penalties etc... Don't know if i'll have the bike back together in a month or by spring. What would you recommend?

Listing the company you're with would be a good start...

Don't know about them but State Farm can suspend the account to maintain your insurance history

What did you do to get stuck with them?? ;)

RSA offers more than just Facility.

OP: do you have another auto policy? (ie. car?) if you do, it won't affect your "insurance history", as you will be considered as having continuous insurance.

They were the cheapest when I first started riding. I was 18 on a 600cc supersport and never bothered to switch since. Would try statefarm but i only have my M and no other license.

Instead of starting a new thread, do you think it would be cheaper to insure a z1000 in comparison to my gsxr 750?

depends on your age

if you're <25, the Z1000 will be cheaper with any company

if you're >25, the GSXR-750 will be cheaper with State Farm/TD MM

What is the renewal date? You don't get much back for the over the winter period since they assume you won't be riding.

I pay monthly with state farm. If I sell my bike before I get a new one will I have to pay penalties?

Your agent has a calculator she can use to determine the penalty you would pay. Anyone cancelling now will usually have to pay fee's because they've used up all the expensive summer months.

Ask Katherine, she will let you know for sure! 1 (866) 930-1221

What you gettin, seven fiddy!?

I won't be selling until the spring. Best bang for the buck. I'm looking at naked bikes. Cheaper on insurance :S
