That isn't very far, why not ride it? Many on this forum have ridden far further than Wisconsin.
 
Rent/borrow/steal a pickup and a buddy and go pick it up in person? Has to be significantly cheaper than hiring a shipping company

ForwardAir has motorcycle specific containers. You could likely get it shipped to Buffalo for less than it would cost in gas to drive a truck to Wisconsin and back to get it.. not to mention you don't have to drive 3000km.

+1. Actually, +2. Wisconsin is a lovely state, and the ride north and through Michigan's gorgeous Upper Peninsula will be a great treat for you. You can choose to go through Sault Ste. Marie and Sault Ste. Marie and then Manitoulin Island and the ferry to Tobermory, or else south over the Mackinac Bridge (use the right lane for a smoother ride!) and south to Port Huron. Either route is lots of fun.

Of course, the bus ride to Wisconsin will be a different kind of treat.
If you want to blend in with your fellow passengers, bring lots of garlic snacks ... :)
