i find them to be a particularly good brand. decent fit, and the stuff tends to last.

Just bought a pair of Shift fuel boots from GP Bikes. On my second ride, the plastic piece holding the velcro strap just burst on me. I like the shoe but am very dissapointed about this. Second time wearing them

Just took them back to GP Bikes, said theyd have to send back to the factory for warranty etc.....

Great, looks like Im screwed now

I've got a Vertex suit and may now buy another one from STG. They're blowing out at $599, I think. It's a mint suit, so I can't complain.

I've had the same shoes for two seasons, problem free. You must have just had a bad one, because that plastic piece should have next to no tension on it. It's not a tightening strap; it's just meant to keep the laces in check. Hope they get you sorted out while there's still replacement stock available.

Same here. Second season, and the fit great. I'm actually thinking of buying another one now in white.

Damn...that's pretty bad news - it's one of the few brands that fits me pretty well. Thanks for the heads up...I ordered a triton for wet days. If you guys find any other sites selling, please post up.

This sucks... When I got into motorcycling back in 08 I wanted to get a shift leather jacket, which was like my ideal jacket. Now that I finally have a bike, they are closing down and i already bought all my gear :(

You may find some bargains here......com/ecomm/AutoForward.do?forward=home.pagedef

do they actually ship to canada? i couldnt find it on their site.

Well if some one is looking for pants bike bandit has them on special. They were cheaper before, but still at a good price now.

Just out of curiosity, whats the shipping like with that site? Will you get dinged with extra charges once it's ships?
They seem to have a lot of Shift apparel marked "closeout", and I wouldn't mind grabbing a pair of pants or something.

*EDIT: never mind, perhaps I should learn to read..

Bought the shift kicker shoes... seem to be very good.

i got the shift air jacket
i grabbed it as a cheap jacket i could do my m2 exit course in, but its actually really comfy and i still use it on those hot summer days

Seriously guys, check out STG Sportbiketrackgear.com; they'll set you up. Never had an issue ordering or shipping from there, and sometimes have even gone below their advertised price. The other interesting thing is that it's only in Michigan so you'll be able to head over, try it on, and wear it back... Mayve if you're in Grand Bend anyway...

Got the Shift Curve shoes today, in white and they feel and look awesome!! If they're closing their street stuff down then maybe I should get the black version too...

I actually picked up the Shift SR1 Leather jacket for $160
