Shell Pump Fuel vs F1 Race Fuel

Shell pays him a lot of money....He says what they tell him to say.
Pump gas equal to F1 race fuel.... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This is exactly why I run 94 octane; I get more power out of the fuel compared to 87

Just run the lowest octane rating recommended by your manufacturer. Higher octane does not equal more power.

What an advertising gimmick....

"In 1992, the FIA decided it would be illegal to use any substance in fuel that was not found in commercial gasoline. Today and since 1993, only unleaded ‘super’ petrol compliant with EU standards is permitted, the same petrol available at the service station around the corner."

so in other words, its total BS, the difference between Shell V-power and "F1 fuel" is the container.

Do you guys SERIOUSLY even for one second believe that F1 teams wouldnt be using Shell V-power already if it meant going quicker? In an environment where hundreds of thousands of dollars are spend for 0.001 second advantage...

going "quicker" is such a stupid thing as well....did it help in the corners? somehow create more downforce? No. All it did is Shell glared at the engineers and mentioned how all their paychecks might magically stop if this car doesnt go around the track faster....a few button strokes and the ECU is now programmed for "qualifying" mode which is designed for max power instead of race length reliability and presto blamo, faster car!

and all of a sudden, i wanna use Shell gas less....

They could make those motors run on cooking oil if Canola gave them a cheque to say so.(I'm thinking this is the next step for Audi;))

Never would have guessed f1 cars were running on 91 octane. I have a seadoo motor that would self distruct on 91.
