i use them primarily to reduce the amount of airborne dust in my house. works wonders. i've recently just ungraded to a newer model so no longer need these. the successor to this model i'm selling, is currently selling for about $150 at futureshop.
letting these go for $80 each. i think the original filter is still good (2 years). but if you decide to get new ones. just buy cut-to-fit vent filters from canadiantire for like $5-10 each. works just as well to capture most airborne particles. the original charcoal filter is good for forever i think. just wash them every once in a while.
