Hey all...
was looking to upgrade to a lighter helmet than what i use now mainly because i've been doing extended hours in the saddle this year. I've always liked the look of Shark helmets but there doesnt seem to be that many available online. I wear a size S in my old AGV and JOeRocket. I've read that the Sharks fit a bit larger? and was hoping someone who actually wears one can tell me if its true. I have had no luck finding a Small, but there are several clearouts available in XS that i wonder if i should gamble on, if the fitting rumour is true.

Also, anyone know of any websites [other than the ones that show up on the first couple pages of Google ie RidersDiscount etc] that are good for helmets and have reasonable shipping to Canada [better yet, based in Canada] From my own experiences, any site that uses UPS or DML I avoid because without fail there is a huge unexpected surprise extra charge when it shows up. USPS seems to be the best way.
thanks

Check out Tri City Cycle at Southworks in Cambridge. Close outs of Sharks, wife picked up a fibreglas composite one for 75 bucks. Lighter than the poly plastic ones.
She had a HJC modular in small and went XS with the Shark full face.

supposed to be new SHARK helmets out, but distribution to Nth America seems lacking. As in.. nothing is coming in ..

Sportbiketrackgear is your site. They also have lots of specials. I got my Shark RSR2 from there and I love it. Very light, nice graphics, moves air. I'm a size medium so I can't help you with the size issue though sorry.

Edit: My RSR2 was $249 and I paid $50 shipping I think...no nasty brokerage fees either.

also is a sponsor on the site. checl out the dealer section

I have a Shark I picked up at the Tri-City close out. The only thing I don't like about them is they don't have a lot of ventilation. Fitting wise, I found it to fit the same as my Arai.

Forgot to say I got an RSI on Ebay for $100 too but that was a while ago and they are gone now. Definitely go the online route, I saved over $150 on the RSR2 and about the same on the RSI by getting them online. Best is to see if any of your friends have a Shark you can try on for size or try it on in a store and buy it there if they are close to the online price+ shipping etc...sadly they usually aren't though.
