Sharing a lane with parked cars: reference request.

As far as I understand: vehicles such as bicycles, scooters and motorcycles are allowed to share a lane when it is partially occupied by parked vehicles.

Can someone direct me to the specific law that permits this so that I may quote it in the future?

It's not that there's a law stating it, it's that there's no law prohibiting it if it's a separate lane, and there is sufficient space to safely operate a vehicle in that lane. There are lanes wide enough that a car can do this, like the north side of Gerrard between Yonge and Church.
