Getting a bit tired of the rants so how about a more upbeat thread.

A few things that brighten my day:

Having an idiot tailgate you when you are cruising along at a reasonable speed. Idiot passes you at double the limit and then gets promptly pulled over in a radar trap.

MX track, perfect temperature, no mud and no dust either.

Finding the part you have been looking for for months on ebay to finish your motorcycle restoration project and you end up being the only bidder.

The squirrel chirping at you as you walk your dog falls out of the tree.

Warm underwear fresh out of the drier on a cold morning.

Got tired of my coworkers being bitches when I was trying to be helpful so I'm quitting tomorrow! :D

That's funny, reminds me of yesterday.
I'm doing the limit in the right lane, some guy is doing the limit in the left lane beside me, and a Paul Tracy wannabe is swerving from lane to lane like a madman behind us, trying to pass somehow.
There is a stop sign the cops love to sit at down the road.
Madman manages to squeeze between us about a block before the stop, i see him blow through the intersection as i'm making the stop, the cops (2 hot 20something year old chciks :D ) promptly chase him down.
As i'm going by, he's looking out the window waiting for the cop to get out of the car, and i point and laugh right in his face

HA HA LOSER!!

What really makes me happy, is when i'm working on something, and it turns out perfectly, or even better than i expected.
It's hard to impress myself most of the time.

Off season is the time to order all the bike parts I can afford.
Come spring time, I begin to fall in love with my bike all over again...

Having the competition come and head hunt you, bring you over to a MUCH better working environment and offer your 50% more money to start off with!

hells yea!

A nice fire in the woodstove.

My son still looking for a hug in the school playground as I send him off to school - clock's ticking on that one.

Simple pleasures, admittedly.

My cat jumping up on the bed and purring, at the first hint of sunrise.

if anything jumped on my bed and woke me at sunrise, i would strangle it to death.

that would make me happy.

Let's not be hasty here. What kinda kitty is purring at you first thing in the morning??

Brian has a boy cat, let's just leave it at that and move along please....

Going to the strip club. Getting a lap dance; when she is in the reverse cowgirl position, she leans back and whisper's in your ear "finger me".
Going to the liquor store. Smile at the two smoking hot chick's checking out in front of you. They spark up a conversation with you, the blonde give's you her number and invite's you to her workplace at club pro later that night. When you get to the club, the brunette slip's you her number when the blonde is up on stage.
Driving down Jarvis St. Seeing the chick that acted like she was too good for you back in high school, turning tricks in front of hooker Harvey's.
One more that almost brought tears of joy to my eyes yesterday afternoon. Driving down Jarvis St again. Seeing your ex girlfriend who cheated on you; 80+ lbs heavier since you last saw her. Yay

Cherish those moments. They grow up so fast; mine is now in his third year of Army life.

GF got me a self inflating whoopee cushion. I brought it to work and have been sneaking up on people and farting in their ear.

I am a lot of different things.. mature is not one of them.

Getting a call from Forch telling you the crown has lost the paperwork for one charge, and it's 99.99999999% that the other charge is going to get 11b'd on Monday.

After pretty much the whole season being a write off for me I find the right part on ebay, buy it now, it gets shipped faster than I expected with the seller marking down the value which I didn't even request so I pay zero customs, drop the part of at GP and everything works, picking my bike up tomorrow. :)

EDIT:

Also, my partially torn left trap is better and my lifts at the gym are finally starting to go back up after like 2 and a half months of pain and weakness. Oh and my atrophied left delt and lat is finally starting to catch up to my right side. Feels good man.

Weekdays I come home from work my 15 month old daughter greets me at the back door window with huge excitement. When I come inside she puts my riding boots away for me in the closet...then as payment I have to give her a big hug. Makes everyday day worth it.

Freshly waxed snowboard on the day after a dumping of powder snow. Hitting that first run in the morning for first tracks before the hill gets chopped to hell. Going full bore down the hill.

Accidently setting the alarm to get up for work on a saturday, realizing you have the day off, turning off the alarm, curling back into your girlfriend and sleeping in.

Taking your dog for a hike in the woods on a crisp fall day with the leaves changing colors around you. It's cold enough so you don't sweat, but warm enough you don't freeze your butt off.

On a warm summer day riding your motorcycle up north to Wasaga beach, finding an easy parking spot and sitting on a patio with a cold drink watching life go by.
