Since the Sept 2 TMP thread got locked I wasnt able to post my video there. But I just created a little mashup of the trackday. I have approx half of the people in my group on video...

I've heard too many times how prospective track riders did not want to do Racer 5 just because they're on CBR125s. I wanted to show how fun a CBR125 could be even on a track like Cayuga. While it did kind of suck on the straightaways, in some cases I was able to catch right back up on turn 4/5, but that didnt matter because the fun was in the turns! I did a Mosport RDT trackday the day after, and thats where the bike shines. I also brought my Orange/Black tribal 600RR to the TMP trackday which I ran for a few sessions but surprisingly had way more fun riding the 125.

I'm on the fence about getting rid of my 125 since I may need to make room for another...but its just so cheap and fun to run.

Nice work! With the swingarm view, for a second there I wondered why your rearset was flexing so much... until I realized why. Looked deceiving at first glimpse.

The first time I saw it from that POV, I was a bit worried too.

But...if you look close enough, there is something wrong with it....the heel guard is about to fall off :confused2:. One of the screws backed itself off and it was only held by the other one.
 
That was me passing ya at 1:35! Music was too loud, couldn't hear my exhaust very good! :) Man you keep up great in the infield!!! Just need a little nitrous for the straight bits and you'd be set!

I think I need a little more than nitrous...I'll swap my 600RR motor in.

I saw a guy putting Gixxer 1000 engines in Gixxer 600 frames. That looked kind fun to try out :)

I have a deals gap trip at the end of the month and dont want to risk injury. I'm probably done for the season but I'll be doing a lot more next year since I got a trailer hitch installed on my car.
