Made the stupid decision to play around with my suspension adjustments, and of course the left side compression adjuster got seized and won't budge now. Tried putting some force on it but the metal is made out of peanut butter and just deforms.

These are for '03 R6 forks btw, the adjustment at the bottom of the fork.

Appreciate the help

have u tried wd40?

Don't force any of the adjusters on your suspension front/back. Sounds like you tried going too far in one direction, could be damaged and if I'm not mistaken that usually means servicing the forks and replacing that adjuster. Go back the other direction.

Was the adjuster turning OK, and then got stuck -OR- You have not been able to move the adjuster at all?

Haven't touched the adjustments in years, but had the great idea to play around with them. I turned it all the way out, and got maybe a turn in before it was stuck. Now won't turn in either direction.

Biggest problem is the adjuster is made of such a soft metal (softest I've seen on anything actually) that any pressure starts to deform it, and this is using the biggest/fattest screwdriver I could find to fill the slot

I had something similar happen to my CBR600. A small "coil spring o-ring" (don't know its proper name) had jumped out of its grove and jammed the adjuster.

Now would be a good time to disassemble your forks, see what is going on and change your fork oil.
