With the current heat wave temperature, and the forecast for the next two weeks calling for above 5, we may just be riding while ringing in the New Year!!! This will be the first time for me with my bikes still not winterized into the new year, each year I ride into the mid or last week of December, but looking forward to having the bikes still running in January!!

Was trying to insert the 2 week forecast from weather Network but for some reason it's not working, any ways the next 2 weeks look like balmy above 5 :p

Even if we only make it partway into January with these abnormally warm temperatures (before something resembling winter arrives) it's going to seem like a short winter, particularly given as how the overall trend will likely usher in an early spring as well.

Good with me.

The mood at the snowmobile forums on the other hand is considerably different. ;)

Yep seems right will continue with that thread for daily updates....

No insurance. I envy all of you.

Fingers crossed for 20 degree April trackday lol

Do you have snow tires? Because we had snow in November last year so not sure how you rode to late December

Not only that but once the Salt is down which the Region did last night, no tnks, no need for just a little spin;-)

Just passed a mat grey Multistrada on the 401 Westbound at Salem Rd. That colour does not standout in these conditions, especially with the rider wearing dark colours.

Enjoy the riding while you can. I've already put mine away.

Yep your right we had snow storm in mid November, that caught me off guard and I never winterized my bike (battery tender, on jack, leather seat in the house). So come mid December there was some days with no snow again, so I was riding on and off. I remember that Christmas eve was like 10C or close and I went on the last ride of 2014 doing some errands.

Don't need snow tires once the road is clear, as I don't have a garage queen so no concern for some salt here or there..I don't go out for just rides either, I ride to work downtown from U of T Campus area Scarborough so no need to go riding, and I do my errands on the week-ends or evening on the bike also.

I rode December 26 and 28 last year. No snow and temps above zero.

Maybe the winter cold will last longer into the year when it eventually arrives, you think we'll be riding again come April?

Maybe we can all ride to the motorcycle show. That would be something to see all the bikes lined up outside.
