FWIW 50% of the population over 50 years of age has some degree of arthritis. An extreme twist of the neck to check for traffic may be painful or impossible. Intersections sharper than 90° an be problematic.

I travel that road a couple of times each month, lots of sightseers on the weekends.

Sad to hear it was another driver making a bad left at an intersection.

I live just a few kms away from that horrible intersection between side ln2 and appleby! They should make that an all way stop.

Today while coming back from a ride, there was a small roadside memorial at spot.
