Sandy Hook Video- what do you think ?

I don't think anyone could argue that it doesn't raise some questions.

Don't forget, Iraq had WMD and the CIA never tried to assassinate Fidel Castro. The government has lied I the past, yet no one believes they are now. #justsaying

I'm tired of the "accuracy" defence.... "an untrained person killed so many people?" Don't forget, schools teach kids/class rooms to hide in a corner and lock the door. That isn't the hardest target after getting through the door.

Specially small kids. You have to figure they'd just cry and hope for the best

You have to wonder if these conspiracy theorists really believe what they're saying. Referring to the folks who start the theories, not the followers. What an awesome basement hobby, parsing and twisting every event to prove the opposite. Like O.J. Simpsons lawyer w/o the pay. Fun stuff if you're inclined that way. That's my theory.

Its people that have too much time on their hands....but I've often wondered how a camera was set up so that everyone in the world could watch "man's first steps on the moon"

I think the media and the politicians jumped on it like they had it all planned. Beyond that, I don't want to speculate. Whether or not this incident was in some way made to happen (don't put anything past the CIA), one thing is clear: the powers were just waiting for something to happen that they could use.

Obama just signed new gun restrictions into law by an executive order. My afternoon will now be spent watching red faced NRA nutbars get apoplectic on TV and show their true colours.

There are so many questions this guy brings up that can easily be answered with some common sense.

A kid saying that gunshots in another part of a school sounded like someone kicking the classroom door? Well if you've ever heard gunfire from inside of a building (and I have first hand) then you would know that it ends up sounding "dull" once those sounds bounce around corners off different materials.

It wouldn't be hard to mass murder a bunch of people huddled up in a corner, especially taking their time. And who said that this kid didn't know how to shoot? I'm sure at some point he had shot those weapons before.

For some reason people seem to think you need MilitaryParaCIAHeliJumperSpecOps training to be able to hit something with a gun. That's worrisome considering the rate of gun ownership in the US lol. School shootings have happened before, they will happen again and there will always be nutjob conspiracy theorists who try to blame the government and gov't entities. Do I believe the CIA COULD and WOULD do something this heinous? Yes. Did they? Probably not.

Which ones restrict guns?

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.
7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).
9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.
10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.
11. Nominate an ATF director.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

I think if they made a nationwide licensing system for procurement similar to what we have here in Canada a lot of these problems would be gone. I'm not saying to be as restrictive about what you can and can't own, but our licensing system is pretty great for weeding out people that maybe shouldn't own firearms.

Where did you get this? If you came up with it you're a genius. I don't see a single issue with anything in those points.

Iraq had WMDs and they used them on the Kurds within Iraq and on Iran (both cases Chemical)--it is well documented. Now they may have ran out before the US decided to do anything but spewing the leftist view that there were none at all is like denying the Holocaust just on a smaller scale. Repeat after me, "Iraq ran out of WMDs before anyone decided to do anything about it or use it as an excuse to justify an invasion (legal or otherwise)."

The sad part is when they used it on the Kurds the Kurds thought they had the backing of the US and the US did nothing of note about it.

Sorry, just a pet peeve...

Really? This whole "most powerful man in the free world" shtick was getting a little farcical. Hope it's true.
