Customizing a classic bike sometimes involves improving suspension components, including replacing front forks with modern SS components.

I discovered Sam's Fork Chart while researching exactly this subject. I'm sharing the link for the benefit of GTAM tech community. This chart has all sorts of dimensions and specifications for various SS fork assemblies, providing the information needed to produce adapters, should you be contemplating such a conversion. Enjoy.

Interesting post, good of you to post it. too bad its limited to modern supersports, as much older bikes may not really need those large rotors and tubes to gain some real benefit (showing my age here). i was hoping it would have included specs right back to the late eighties and the nineties.

The link below is the "RB rake and trail calculator". There is also a "professional RB rake and trail calculator with more options." Both are free to use. you can input all sorts of changes and see what happens. heads up on using the calculator, it is in inches which can be a pain, however, if you want to use metric numbers you can ignore the inches headings and put in ALL metric numbers (either all mm or all cm - don't mix them) and you'll get the correct answer. it is geometry after all - so it all works out.
