Salem South of 401

So I rode to work today. Coming home south on Salem I see these signs "Loose Sand" I mean wtf is this? Well it really is just loose oily sand spread all over the southbound lanes. I don't know what the hell is going on but this spun the pucker factor up to about eleven. Slow down and stay in the tracks and you should be okay. It's all clear after Bayly.

Let the Region of Durham Ajax Depot know. They will either send someone to clean it up or find out why its there. e.g. construction related or chemical spilll etc.

I would expect the region already knows it is there. I doubt some good samaritan went out and had a road sign made up saying "loose sand" and then was kind enough to place it on the roadway with the loose sand..lol
