Safety cert

Hey all,

So I have 9 more days to get my bike certified and don't really know where to go. I have called places I know (Pickering motorsports and GPBikes) and they both said they are very busy. Rosey toes is a bit of a trip for me, but if it'll save me some dough I'd gladly go. I mean, I'd be riding anyways. Any other shops to consider on the east/central end?

thx

Hey all, thx
Rosey Toes will come to your house too for a lil extra $$$. I would take the bike to him to get your safety if you're very familiar with bikes, etc.

Yea, Rosey Toes will go to your house to certify your bike for about $80.

And from my experience, if you registered your bike under your name but didn't safety it, they won't give you a temporary plate to ride it. They will tell you to tow it.

I prefer Ted Rose at Rosey Toes, but as an alternative you can go to Canadian Tire at McCowan/Sheppard. They have a motorcycle guy that does certification on a part-time basis. Call them up and see when he is in. If he is working there will be an old black Suzuki bike out front with some interesting "ducting" that acts to flow more air towards the rider's body. I have never used or met this guy.

So it looks like it's about 70 odd dollars everywhere except Rosies? I don't need him to come to my house so I may just go to the closest place.

And no, I was able to get plates with a temp sticker without a safety.
