Hi,

I am a newbie in the world of motorcycle and I got 2 questions to ask:

1. Where can I get a safety certificate for my used motorcycle here in Scarborough.
2. Do I still need to get an emission test?

I don't know too many shops out that way but you can always just go to CT. Rosey Toes or Heritage Auto probably aren't too far off.
I've never had it done myself but seeing that so many guys run aftermarket exhausts I'm pretty sure there's no emission tests for bikes.

You can try Snow city cycle at Kennedy south of Ellesmere, try different CDN tire stores and there's also a motorcycle shop at Warden and Danforth (don't know the name, located at the car wash corner.

Whether they can or cannot is one story but definitely NOT every mechanic shop WILL do a safety on a bike.
Stick with motorcycle shops to be on the safe side and not waste your time.

CDN tire, just call to see if they have a licensed mechanic for bikes.
They have no vested interest in pushing work that doesn't need to be done. Their rates are usually the cheapest.
