Ryno Motors - One Wheeled 'Motorcycle?

I saw that on daily planet I believe it was. It looked very interesting but I would never use as transportation.

That'll get you a stunting charge here for doing a wheelie.
 
I remember seeing that DD episode with the guy from Waterloo university (?) and I think it's a great idea. Give it a good price, and market it properly to the urban commuters and I think that could be a gold mine. Electric powered motorcycle...efficient, quiet, and easy to purchase would be a very attractive package to some IMHO.
The RYNO on the other hand, I'm sure it has a great use somewhere, but personally I don't think I could ride a unicycle in this city's traffic. BTW how does it fall under Transport Canada...electric scooter style? Throw some pedals on and do whatever you want?
 
I'm not sure if u guys looked into it but it was to be used like a moped. Slow speeds, in urban sprawl. Kinda like a segway. I'll give him A+ for innovation

The problem with the ZENN was it's top speed is 40km/h. Anywhere outside of a school zone in anything but rush hour and you're going to get run the hell over. I am all for supporting good ideas, especially canadian ones, but the ZENN would just not work well in Canada.

I saw a vespa the other day on the 401...the rider was wearing sandals,shorts....you know what all scooter riders wear....a vespa.On the highway....it was 5 pm and he was the fastest vehicle on the road....the zen would have made it...

A vespa can go 90-120 depending on the model. Not 40. A vehicle with 40kmh top speed is not safe on a public road(50km/h+ speed limit).
