Looking for ideas for meals while travelling in our RV. Beyond meat on the BBQ what are your go to's?

More specifically what do you cook when all you have is a two burner propane inside to work with?

From my camping perspective

Pancake Mix (the add water only type to make it easier)
Grilled Cheese
Chicken wraps (you can buy precooked chicken at walmart) or fajitas
Eggs scramble and bacon and bfast sausage
Buy a bunch of croissant or buns and make cold cut sandwiches
Couscous (easier to cook than rice and much faster)
Oatmeal
Campfire nachos (stack em up in aluminium pan, put some foil on top and cook on indirect heat)
Lots of chips
Pre-cooked popcorn (although its easy to make in pot from kernel, i do it every week in under 4-5 minutes)
As mentioned slow cooker if its an option is great, put a pork shoulder in some sauce/seasoning all day and have pulled pork at the end of the day.

If you have power, which I assume you do, slow cooker was a win for me. Roast chicken, stew, roast of beef with veggies.

Take a wok and you can cook almost everything i cook at home. Chicken pasta (done a million different ways, mix up your sauces, spices etc), stir fry, chicken friend rice, etc.

OK, I'm lazy, so you can go through to see what you like...

Lots of ideas there but going through them it looks like they're trying to sell dutch ovens

Think of any street food you’ve ever had and copy that. Tacos are super easy and tasty. I’ve even taken a tin of tuna and fried it until it starts to get crispy, put that in a pita/taco whatever you want and it’s pretty good with different cold fillings too.

Same things I cook on the stove at home. Coq Au Vin, Fajitas, almost any pasta dish, catch a fish then fish-fry, pad Thai, jambalaya, anything in a can and Kraft Dinner.

There are lots of sites with 'skillet recipies' that uou can print off. Here's a random one 74 Easy Skillet Dinners You Can Make In A Flash

Buy fresh pasta so you are boiling three mins not 15 . Anything you can cook at home works on a 2 burner propane. But minimize humidity with faster cooking stuff . I pan fry fish/ chicken / sausage , veg , I’ll also do anything on a bbq to avoid smells inside . Tin foil and a bbq and everything is possible

I keep a portable propane stove on the boat- cooking outside the cabin reduces the condensation, smoke and stink.

You can slow cook in a pot on a campfire, just make sure the flames are out and you’re cooking slowly over the coals. Sure it takes some additional attention but it is possible

We cook on the open fire with a tri-pod grill. Onions and yellow peppers in some foil or asparagus with some butter, salt and pepper, roast over the fire. For breakfast, we cook peameal bacon and have fresh fruit like grapes, pear or apples.

Using a propane burner, we have boiled some veggies like brussel sprouts, cauliflower or broccoli etc.

We have snack like nuts of your choice which is handy for snacks between meals.

This link doesn’t show the round grill that comes with the tri-pod. You just spin it occasionally and slow, and everything comes out nice. We often boil our tea/coffee water over the fire.
