Rust on kickstand and chain

Hi all, I noticed rust on my kickstand (top of it) and some rush minor on my chain after I took my bike out for the first time this year. What should I do?

When is the last time you lubed your chain?

I did it before Thursday ride. But wondering why my top of my kickstand is rusted too...

clean it and lube it. the kick stand is usually made up of just steel....so its not unusual to see it rusting

New Bike. I will take you old one off you for $40. The ammount of work to fix that would be to much for anything more. Im loosing on the deal. Hell i like your face wil go to $80. Just kidding dont worry about the kick stand thing to much but if you want to controle it you can get a product called fluid film. It will penetrate the metal and stop the rust from spreading. I use it on my chain as will for winter storage.
